Every girl has a first kiss but how many can claim it was with their future husband? That was the case for Katie, 25, who became reacquainted with Jon, also 25, more than 10 years after their seventh-grade "relationship." "I remember him with his overalls and purple Champion sweatshirt; all the girls thought he was so cute!" Katie recalls. After moving to New York City, Jon called Katie out of the blue. Though both were involved with other people at the time, it didn't take long for romantic sparks to fly.
Because they had known each other and their respective families for so long, "we knew pretty soon into our relationship that this would be it," says Katie. Seven months later, on a Caribbean vacation, Jon spontaneously proposed.
